The Mission Possible Initiative is a program that takes students from various geographic regions on an exposure experience to New York City for one week during the summer. During their visit, students stay in the heart of the city near Times Square. For many of the students, this is their first time flying, staying in a hotel, and leaving their immediate communities. On the trip, students interact with professionals and business leaders through events such as company visits, board-room socials and a mentor-ship dinner.
Students have visited companies and organizations such as the New York Stock Exchange, American Express, New York Times, Delta Airlines, Broadway, NFL, New York Public Library, Cantor-Fitzgerald and Good Morning America to name a few. While in the city, the students also experience an immense cultural component with visits to Chinatown, Little Italy, 9/11 memorial, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and many more.
