On March 31st, we will embark on our annual College AIM Campus Tour to visit 15 of the most selective and supportive colleges in the nation. Most of our students will be the first in their respective families to go to college, and for many this trip marks the first time that they will leave the state of Georgia. Our fifth annual trip will take our cohort of juniors from Atlanta to Boston and will propel each student towards college in a way that few other opportunities could.
As we work to provide another cohort of wonderful students with the exposure, guidance and inspiration necessary to make it to and through college, I ask that you consider supporting our students once again. All contributions though our online portal are tax deductible and will go directly towards covering the cost of this year’s college tour. Each dollar that we receive leads to more than $200 in scholarships for our kids – think of your contribution as a crucial scholarship for an incredible student like Hernan, Chari, Kortay or Jodian (http://www.collegeaim.org/#!students-and-results/cl15).
Please consider the following contributions:
$100 – Funds breakfast for the entire group for one day on the trip
$250 – Funds all of the costs associated with visiting one college (meal, college gear, etc.)
$500 – Funds one student for the entire trip and provides him or her with a path to and through college
$1,000 – Funds two students for the entire trip and provides them with paths to and through college
$5,000 – Funds the cost of hotel stays for all 40 students for the entire trip
$10,000 – Funds the cost of the bus for the entire trip
$20,000 – Funds the entire trip and provides paths for 40 students to and through college
I also invite you to take a few minutes to listen to our students’ stories – excerpts of the personal narratives that they write for their college application essays. Please follow this link to get to know a few of the incredible young men and women who are involved in our programming: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzCHr7BvYfU
I hope that these stories allow you to appreciate the impact that you have had and our gratitude for your ongoing support.
