We’d walk if we had to!
 
That is how excited the students of East Side High School Spanish Booster Club are about going to Spain this summer. We plan on leaving in June for the educational experience of a lifetime.  The purpose of our organization is to give our students a chance to see a little more of the world and bring back stories and experiences to share with fellow students.
 
We have seen how excited our students are at the mere mention of this trip. We are hoping that after they get back, that excitement will spread to our entire student body, increasing academic investment and interest in Spanish. While we are there we are hoping to meet up with a sister school there for a day of learning “Spanish style” as well as see the sights that Madrid offers.
 
We are looking to raise $25,000 to help this year’s group make the leap and won’t make it without the help of those in better circumstances who understand what this will mean for our students. This will be the chance to see outside Bolivar country, experience new cultures, hear the language they are diligently trying to attain and bring their big ideas back home.
