Starting a Program
Yes. If you are interested in starting a program and have identified a few grants for which you would like to apply, our team can help you write the grants.
Definitely! One of CMEF's goals is to encourage Teach For America alumni to stay connected with their placement regions and the national Teach For America movement. Even if you know you want to stay involved in the lives of your students, but do not know how, CMEF can help. We have lots of ideas and support to offer so you can stay connected. Just contact our team at info@cmef.org or call 608-554-4608.
Of course! In fact, in many ways you will benefit from starting your program while you are still. That way, you can start raising money on behalf of your students and get a head start on making sure you achieve your big goals. If your are interested in starting a program, please email Jay O'Toole at jason.otoole@cmef.org.
Donations
100% The donation you give to a particular program goes entirely to the program. CMEF works hard to ensure all money earmarked for a particular program supports that program directly. Only money given directly to CMEF is used to pay for our administrative costs (i.e. credit card transaction fees, web hosting fees, etc.). When you give to a program, we give you an option to help cover our overhead which we hope you will consider :)
