No videos and football

Ok so maybe I can't put videos up here. :( But it was a great one. This last week we had a meeting where we talked about how far we had to go and how far away we still are. We decided that since we were a team we weren't going to leave anyone behind and so although we are still $1300 away from Ye'chiya's goal, we will find it for Monday's deadline. It is amazing to see the solidarity of these kids. They keep sending me emails, texts, phone calls, "Hey Ms. Saylor I talked to my Grandma..." or "What if we tried this Ms. Saylor?" It makes me proud to be their advisor. One of them even said... "If Ye'chiya can't go no one goes." To which I replied that if Ye'chiya didn't make it we were still going to go. That when we put forward everything we've got and it doesn't work out there is a reason. But if we don't put forward everything we have than we are the reason it doesn't work out. To which I explained the concept of the "Hail Mary' pass at the end of the football game at the buzzer. Just like the quarterback doesn't know if there will be anyone in the end-zone to catch the ball he still puts all his faith into throwing it. If he never throws the ball though, he'll never know if there was someone out there to catch it. Same with us. We don't know what miracles can happen still. 

I will be so glad to be done fundraising for Spain and be able to focus my attention on Costa Rica. We have been working on these trips a solid year, and it will be SO GOOD to be done. I am SO GRATEFUL for all the donations we've been receiving that save me from insanity. I truly believe great good happens when good people are generous.
